This feature serves as a manual alternative supplier of gift cards to our customers.

Problem: With sole dependency on one provider for gift cards (since EZpin is currently not available), our customers are faced with uncertainty, and a lack of trust in our services when that provider is down for lengthy periods of time. The business suffers a loss of revenue as these occurrences are repeated with an uncertain resolution time from the operator. With more frequent downtimes, our customers have lost confidence in us to be able to provide a seamless service at any time they see fit.

Solution: A manual provider which would be able to provide gift cards, with a seamless transition for when the other providers are down.

This includes:

• A manual gift card pool as an alternative provider
• Auto switching between providers and the backup pool
• Auto pause when both providers are down and the backup pool is empty

NOTE:

• If the manual pool is empty, customers will begin to see the delay notice at the 3rd purchase.
• If this happens, an admin will need to tick “Allow manual pool” again whenever the service is back up so that auto purchase can run.
• Auto purchase runs checks every hour to ensure we have at least 50 cards of each iTunes (USD) face value. If we have less than 50, there will be a purchase to bring it up to 150 each.
